Blood says all and says it true
In a way that words can seldom do
In a way that most ain't listening to

All too freely quick to spill
It's flowing freely down the hill
Into the earth and through the field

Blame me none
For what I've said
It sure ain't fun
And they'll want my head

Blood lust comes and goes in waves
All other thrill is thrill in vain
No other thrill is ever the same

Blood won't mix when it is two
As though alive and somehow knew
What you devised to have it to do

Bloodlines weave in hidden ways
Yes, even still, to this very day
As in a time when it was plain

They know these things
But feign not to
Much on it hangs
It's us who lose

Your blood's red and theirs is blue
This sort of thing is hid from view
You were born their bidding to do

Since the day we reached the shore
And a hundred thousand years before
We never once these rules ignored

But now we're told we should abhor
This way of life but not what for
Explain to me just what's in store

Don't blame me
For what's implied

Once might cringe or be appalled
