lyrics

I look out on this town of mine filled with corporate signs
All promising fulfillment in the drudge of city life
I stand before this messl with my son and with my wife
& I think back on the days now long lost in time

I gaze across the plains and out into this world of mine
Through all my middle age, I used to see the worst of signs
& I could only think these were the worst of times
But now it’s only love and beauty that I find

I’ve glimpsed into another plane
I’ve felt the spirit like a breeze
I’ve known a joy that's born of pain
I’ve felt the grace of God in me

I look out on it all, out into our universe
Always giving freely, always more than what it's worth
Always in a state of growth through death and birth
& It makes it all look easy with it’s manna and it’s mirth

I’ve glimpsed into another plane
I’ve felt the spirit like a breeze
I’ve known a joy that's born of pain
I’ve felt the grace of God in me

about

Reece Sullivan Lafayette, Louisiana

My latest incarnation has me playing out often, sometimes touring, and writing and recording consistently. ... more
